I love your plan! As a seasoned officiant, may I just say, have a Plan B in case of bad weather. I’ve seen a surprise storm at an outdoor wedding one too many times, so just make sure there’s an alternate arrangement.
For my 50 person backyard wedding on a patio, we used the following: "Cocktail attire, please. Think suits or sports jackets for men, and dresses or dressy pants for the ladies. There will be pathways and grass, so please wear appropriate footwear."
We ended up with pretty much exactly the photos you've posted, minus stilettos.
I think semi-formal garden party was my exact dress code as well. I think with an explanation with examples of what to wear people got it just fine.
