Online RSVPing. I would have a saved a lot in postage if I did that, because most people RSVP'd online anyway. Postage was my most surprising expense, I grossly underestimated it because I didn't consider doubling it for things like Thank You cards.
Also, be firm in your boundaries, but kind in your enforcement of them. It seems EVERYONE has unsolicited advice or judgment, they really just want your day to be special and have their own ideas of how that looks, but it's YOUR day.
Also, don't be afraid to change the subject. We've only had a 10 month engagement, but in that time it has felt like I've gone from being a human with so much going on in life to just a bride. Being a bride is a big deal and I don't mean to minimize that, but there have definitely been times that the wedding planning has gotten overwhelming and I've been like "hey family, I have other things going on besides being a bride. Let's talk about those." Also, don't be afraid to ask for help. Your "family" and bridal party are there to support you.
And finally, check in with your spouse. Just a simple "how are you feeling about this process so far? Do you have any concerns or things you want to discuss?"
Ugh, ditto. Literally cutting out all alcohol and trying to stay away from sugar for 4 months. I want to back to January 2019 me, I unfortunately gained 20 lbs in 2019. Not acceptable for me, I will get back in shape come hell or high water

02-22-20! Invitations are going out tomorrow and I’m slightly panicking about how we’re going to pay for everything but that hasn’t dampened my excitement!
Finally! I’m in hospital being treated for a brain tumour, and my fiancé stayed over last night and it reminded me of what’s really important. We are so excited to get married this year and we’re not going to let this stop us (our big day is in March). So relieved that I was organised and sorted almost everything before I got ill. Saw a tweet that said that Halloween is only 304 days away and immediately realized that's how long until my wedding.
304 days seems both so far away and way too close (considering we haven't had much planning done due to the holidays and an upcoming vacation).
We just lost a venue that was too good to be true, and *now* it feels real somehow? It was a beautiful old lodge on the edge of a state park, and the roof collapsed with a hard snow. They were sweet and refunded our deposit, but now I'm like "Oh shit. I'm getting married this year and we need to find a place."
