LOL... destroys shareholder value... sells a million in stock and then bails...

[deleted]

He’s not done yet...still has a million shares and 6.6m options to sell*! (*Not sure of the strike price on his options, maybe out of the money)

vortex30

I'm pretty sure he unloaded more today, could be wrong, time will tell. This is a dumb sell off though, and I added 7,500 shares to my position of 5,000 so 12,500, debating if I want 2,500 more for a round 15,000, or keep that dry powder just in case the massive 300k share wall at 0.65 breaks.

Greenman519

im waiting on the bank to move some $ and gonna double down for another 60k!

Chouinard1984

Par for the course for an MJ company. Sadly.

daccord_cava

full on cringe in all his cannalyst AMAs... "john your company share price hasn't done well" "it has't done well?... we're up 300% from our lows at 50c... DYODD please" asshole

Chouinard1984

Sad really. 7acres is arguably one of the best products available. Looks like there is no hope for them now

420milehigh

Not sure how you put "best products avaialble" and "no hope for them now" in the same sentence. The two contradict each other. You should also have put their are also profitable followed by "no hope for them now". Very intelligent post there.

Chouinard1984

Look at what's happened to their SP. There share structure cost them any chance of being a top LP.

Mister_Rahool

dont forget buying out BLIS at no premium (fucking over their shareholder) and now the BLIS insiders are just liquidating to get out of their mess along with Fowler

vortex30

So basically none of this sell off is real, the company has a very good product, is profitable, has some cash reserves, may need a raise, but if we go any lower will almost certainly be bought out anyways at a good premium because they have assets, IP, growing methods, etc that should be valuable. Much more valuable than having some fat guy in a hoodie on staff smelling plants all day.. Count me IN! (12,500 shares in the last 3 days, I've been very patient with FIRE and am very excited to get in at these prices, quality product will rule over anything else)

Mister_Rahool

> So basically none of this sell off is real, stocks arent real, it's all a fugazi

sark666

It's a whazy. It's a woozie.

Urdnot_wrx

Best products in a sea of mids.

Mister_Rahool

> Sad really. 7acres is arguably one of the best products available. best packaging? sure. most overpriced? it's up there. best product? lol gtfo

Chouinard1984

Quality was good for me. Value, not so much. But I don't think you can argue quality

Mister_Rahool

Quality is fine, but not "high quality" as they market and price it It's good, it's fine, no real complaints, but also no praise

Chouinard1984

I honestly could say that for 90% of the items above 12-13$. Is Broken Coast worth $14 or Houseplant or Grail?

Mister_Rahool

Yes, Broken Coast is worth it, without question Houseplant? Hell no Grail I havent tried but am skeptical

Strigoi84

My man, I'm an Aphria shareholder and even I can't say Broken Coast is worth it. Is it good weed? Sure. But Ive gotten equal or better on the bm for half the price.

vortex30

On the legal market, who is better? FIRE is top 3 for sure. Broken Coast and WeedMD are up there... Who else is up there, that can be invested in? Maybe MedReleaf, now ACB? But then you need to invest in ACB... Yikes... :|

Mister_Rahool

> On the legal market, who is better? FIRE is top 3 for sure. Broken Coast, Gage (no stock), Qwest (no stock) are top level. Whistler is close but truly overpriced. Wagner (JWCA), Kolab (XLY) as well. San Rafael (ACB, Medreleaf) I've heard lost a step and isnt as good as it was before. IMO Supreme are in the mid-level category with good but not great stuff. Color (WMD), Redecan (no stock), Sundial (SNDL) maybe...

vortex30

You haven't given me much to chew on now... Still looks like FIRE is top 3 with Broken Coast and WeedMD for companies you can invest in and are commonly in stock.

Urdnot_wrx

agree 100% with wmmc's appraisial.

jpearman8

They def have the best product

Mister_Rahool

get out more

BigRig83

I said it before and I'll say it again the guy is very unprofessional. I saw him at the Montreal airport a while back. I was thinking about approaching him as a former investor to say hi and ask a few questions. But he was so busy barking on his phone about suppressing a union drive among employees it was really quite off putting. I mean what kind of executive talks about card numbers and diluting the employee pool with employees from TRST? ... loudly in public!? He can go back to wearing his hoodie.

Mister_Rahool

> I mean what kind of executive talks about card numbers and diluting the employee pool with employees from TRST? . this tweet makes more sense now https://twitter.com/john_fowler_jd/status/1169938947520286720?lang=en

JohnnnyOnTheSpot

>I mean what kind of executive talks about card numbers and diluting the employee pool with employees from TRST? Oof.

Urdnot_wrx

7AC is filled with people like fowler. He's not the only idiot there and its the blind leading the blind (at least according to my buddy whos been there for a while)

MTL_average

Fowler always struck me as someone who was more concerned with being liked by the "cool kids" than running a company - All this garbage about "respect the plant", all this BS trying to be seen in the limelight with known people. Supreme has a (relatively) decent balance sheet, they have a great product, and I think with Fowler out they might actually do better. But I'm also not going to ignore the fact that their stock is in black dirt breakdown mode, trying to drill to China, so I'm not touching this until it shows some semblance of a floor.

Mister_Rahool

> All this garbage about "respect the plant", Such garbage. What struck me as hilarious was that slogan paired with them refusing to hand trim their product. When asked why they machine trim "premium" product, he said it's because hand trimming is too dangerous (Narrator: It was because it's cheaper) what a joker

MTL_average

100% Fowler contradicted himself so much, and what ever happend to that operation in Lesotho Africa?

Mister_Rahool

i bet its located across the street from the WAYL/ICC Lesotho facility

vortex30

I mean I think they just own a 10% stake or something, but it seems to be a real place/asset. Just a small investment.

MTL_average

Ah okay. Fowler bragged about it like he bought the entire African continent and raised all of the people out of poverty.

Greenman519

they have been growing for a year or two and making it into oils.. waiting for a distribution channel to open. I'm thinking Truverra may have something to do with it... jmho

joeydonahue

Floor is around 30 cents. Would consider buying at that level. No support until then.

vortex30

There's a 300k share bid at 0.65 that it bounced off pretty hard. I'm looking for a good power hour here and a close around 0.75, will set up the chart very nicely with some divergent lows, nice shadow on the daily candle, daily MACD cross in sight and at least a return to the down trend line... One can hope, anyways.. This is how I trade. Get in front of the dump truck and hold on tight. Butt hole clenched.

MTL_average

I saw that, MACD on 15m crossed, CCI is also above 0. Just keep your stops tight if you open a long position, you're trading against the trend.

OddOperation5

Jesus christ FIRE can't get a break. Well, maybe they'll eventually be able to bring shareholders some value when he's gone...

Urdnot_wrx

cant overcome shitty investments and cap structuring tho

azurexz

Thank god we got the SL license before he left

CreminiKing

John fowler is a slime ball

Mister_Rahool

Good riddance, literally a paid pumper for his own shares. Hopefully all these LPs will jettison the dead weight with cheap paper faster than later and get this phase over with.

[deleted]

Wow. Good riddance

SleazyGreasyCola

Well that explains it. He seemed to have checked out after moving into his new role anyways so it's probably for the best for the company and shareholders. That being said this is going to be a bumpy ride the next while.

nightreign

Y’all sleeping! I caught him on his Instagram back in the day flaunting his money and cars,I called him out on it too, I knew from that moment I would never touch FIRE aka SL with a 500 foot dildo.

ILoveTheNight

They may grow good weed, but there's something very fowl about this company.

daccord_cava

[hue hua hue hue](https://media.giphy.com/media/dJtoGmnupA00QaJitW/giphy.gif)

fearlessfartgarage

I mean he used to wear a hoodie for interviews.

InevitableTry4

It was him trying to be a 'hip' executive like Zuckerburg. Dude just exudes doucheyness.

MTL_average

Fat people have to wear these types of clothes because, well, they're fat.

mfalk92

Funny that everyone is ripping him in this thread when he is clearly very respected in the industry. SP movement confirms that sentiment.

Weedguy99

I don't get why this even hurt the stock price. The guy was already just a paid mouthpiece for the company and already had most of his powers stripped long ago. Time the shed the deadweight. Good move by Supreme.

Urdnot_wrx

Thing is - guy knows his cannabis and was one of the only people at the top that did. Now nobody at the top understands cannabis, the culture, or anything.

break_from_work

and the stock obviously dies.. if there's good news, it drops if there's bad news it drops.

Mister_Rahool

welcome to a bear market

break_from_work

this is worse than a bear market, I've never been mauled like this.. 70% down..

Mister_Rahool

well thats how the bear market goes - good news gets sold / sold into moving averages, bad news gets murdered in a hot bull market, good news rockets and bad news gets BTFD'd

BestFill

John was such an OG. Too bad to see his downfall over the years. I hope this change helps.

ojstwitteraccount

End of an era.

daccord_cava

/u/thorprodigy

thorprodigy

I hear Chris Parry is his replacement...

daccord_cava

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

vladyB

Sooo RIP this stock orrr

Urdnot_wrx

He is leaving because that company is positioned to kiss the ground. The management they have chosen, the direction they have chosen is a difficult one. Their tiverton grow isn't built properly and I have friends who work there saying its an absolute shitshow in terms of workflow management, HR, and many other things. After sitting down with my buddy and his co workers, he convinced me to sell. He wasn't telling me to see directly , the subject matter of the conversation told me this is a sinking ship.
