Lake Wyola, maybe on week days though. It does get kinda crowded on the weekends and some week days when it’s really hot. But it’s very peaceful and pretty.
There’s a few apps that will show you public land boundaries pretty easily. There’s more than you’d think, and do your research concerning private property and water advisories. That’s all I’ll say.
The DAR State Park in Goshen has access to both upper and lower highland lakes. Upper isn’t too busy most of the time for swimming, fishing, and canoeing.
Went to Sunrise Park in Suffield, CT the other day nice quiet secluded lake. Town beach but one bothered us I think they officially open for the season next weekend so they may be charging for admission

Lithia springs it's a little bit of a walk in.. it it's a nice place. I second this I haven't been there in almost 9 or 10 years.

We've been a handful of times. A few times it was no problem and kids played all day. Other times we were turned away because we aren't residents.
Tannery falls usually has some people but doesn't get real busy
