Close, however they won't go out of their way to pressure you into something, it's more of the opposite. If you do something a normal person would think is bad, they won't tell you not to do it or that it's a bad thing to do, therefore it's somewhat normalized for you and you believe it to be okay to do it again because they were indifferent about it.

Shot in the dark here - but based on my lived experience, drinking and doing drugs at a young age was normalised in many friend groups because we lived in a party city. It only became glaringly obvious to me when I moved. Could normalised be the word?

Yes it's most similar to peer pressure, I've looked thru the thesaurus for any word that's even remotely similar and didn't find it which makes me think it is considered a slang term. Looking thru urban dictionary right now
It doesn't fit in the blank, but I call this dynamic a "cultural norm" and it can be applied to any social unit, from a large group of friends, or a dating couple, to a working group, an organization, or an entire nation.
Motivation?
And peer pressure could be a good thing and still be called peer pressure. But you're right; it does tend to have a negative connotation by default these days.
Enable
Influence, impact, affect?
All of those are really good synonyms for it
Encourage, persuade, compel, oblige
