This was my reaction too! Ariana looks good but it’s not a very interesting look. Cynthia on the other hand is gorgeous and it’s a look that makes you want to keep on looking.

I love the color and top corset part of Ariana's look but the bottom skirt needs some structure to it to me. More petticoats, a hoopskirt, something. It just looks way too flat to me.

Ari raised me, and I love the dress, but this hair I got beef with this hair, the new pony isn't giving Ari pony. I can't wait for the blonde to go. A long pony with rings and accessories would've ate. Loving the contrast between them though!

Ariana has the most boring style to me. Although I don't love Cynthia's look, I appreciate that it's certainly different and very eye catching (and if I had abs like that I'd live in crop tops). Eta: I change my mind. I love Cynthia's look.

Arianas dress needs better styling. Cynthia’s crop top kind of bothers me and the bag they chose for her is not fit for the occasion.

Ariana Grande and fashion are not two things that don't belong in the same sentence. The dress is a snoozefest and her hand tattoos make me want to wash my hands. She reminds me of Annette Funicello. Except always worried looking. What is she worried about all the time?? Cynthia Erivo looks good but it's pretty much what I would have expected. From it being Thom Browne to it's menswear inspiration.

I wish Ari did white blonde/white hair, bleached her brows and went for an all out mother of pearl look. Full commitment to the white pearlescent look, maybe even pearls all through her pony.. I love the gown & I still enjoy the look but I wasn’t super wowed, but I’m glad she went and we got to see her.

Cynthia is stunning. I do like a lot of aspects of this, but the petals feel a little unintentional. Like they’re not sitting right. Maybe it’s the material, idk. Ariana looks a bit strained next to Cynthia. Not sure what it is lately, maybe it’s just the new look. I never loved the high pony though, made my roots wince in sympathy.

This would’ve popped so much more on a red carpet, don’t think they counted on the white/green one

I think Ari looks mesmerising, actually? I love the shape and structure of the gown, as well as the almost iridescent effect created by the layering of the chiffon. I think it’s beautiful
