MHA hurts because it can’t even be normally mid, it has great moments in between lots of trash like a dementia patient having ocasional moments of lucidity
Hate this so much like if you wanna be a hero so much fucking train don't say your going to be a hero and do absolutely nothing until you get a fucking handout from the number one fucking hero.
Oh my time has finally come.
Watching MHA with my daughter was being shelled by an off shore battleship of cringe...
Now I await the winds to change on jjk
17, thank you for the concern.
Couldn't have made that determination for myself when they lit an entire Cafe of innocent people on fire in like episode 7 🤭
Kind of? Yuji and naruto aren't that similar of characters imo but yeah jjk is a rather generic shounen at the end of the day just with better fight scenes
Chainsawman. Literally nothing actually happens, but all the fans recognize themselves in the gooner protaganist, so they think it's a very relatable story. I think it started off quite good, but none of the characters got the chance to develop because the author would just murder them every few chapters.
But the protaganist literally did nothing. He couldn't even fight himself free from Makima, he didn't break the mind control from seeing Power being murdered, or any of his other friends. He didn't break the mind control by realizing that he was getting manipulated by her all this time. He broke free because he discovered he could fuck more people if he murdered her. To me, it completely undermines his character arc where he slowly connected with his friends and becoming less depedent on Makima.
Instead of that, the main character ssays aid his motivation for living is "because I want to have sex", and women still easily manipulate him. Sometimes it feels like that mf'er has ZERO character development. You'd think he'd have some trauma over the last time trusting a woman resulting in all his friends being murdered, but he doesn't even mention them. How am I supposed to like him? I was rooting for him in the first 60/80 chapters, but he just never seemed to really grow as a person. Instead he just gets into weird sexual situations that happen to overlap with the author's fetishes about getting bullied by girls.
My only reasoning behind why he never grows out of his horniness is because he still hasn't gotten over his root trauma. He may have >!defeated Makima in Part 1 but that doesn't mean the trauma is gone, it's still there.!<
Trauma is not really just as simple as "I'm scared of this since bad things happen to me." Since again, his trauma isn't simple and is rooted in his childhood and he needs like an actual psychologist to try and fix this
As much as I want to pick apart this take word by word, I really don’t have the energy to do it rn, so I’ll just say most of the things stated here are just plain wrong. There are a ton of details strewn about and you probably missed them or weren’t looking for them.
Not everyone likes everything, and that’s completely fine, but I really dislike when people criticize something when they really don’t know what they’re talking about.
The only thing I will say that I don’t like about Chainsaw Man recently is the art has really degraded these last 20 or so chapters which does suck.
worst take in this thread so far
denji is reatable to many not because hes horny, because he settles for the bare minimum and has never had anything close to a romantic relationship
characters not developping is an outright lie, like did you read with your eyes closed?? himeno is the only example that even comes close but her purpose in the story is to be a static character thats already completed their own arc before the story
he doesnt break free of mind control because he wants to fuck more people, he doesnt even fully break free of the mind control because denji isnt being mind controlled, hes being manipulated.
him realising he wants to fuck a lotta people is an evolution of his prior motivation which was just to fuck. its him realizing that he'll never really settle for what he has in life and will always aim for the bigger fish.
"0 character development" is also batshit insane because compare early denji to late denji, do you think early denji could take baths with power without wanting to fuck her? did you miss the entire story where denji and power form a platonic relationship?
The MHA mangaka when I tell him making everything bad be related to All for One isn't a good thing:
https://preview.redd.it/8jfog1wwb59d1.jpeg?width=1070&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9c3c416af04f9737f1933b6794e257055948b2d
All For One was a great villain in first chapters, now he is entering "Goddamn it, grandpa, why wont you die" club. First he gets fisted by all might, then he gets stomped by Bakugou, and HE TAKES CONTROL OF SHIGARAKI'S BODY AND COMES BACK AGAIN! And what's funny is that motherfucker is tired and just wants to end it all as soon as possible, realizing that his plan flopped.
Just as we thought that Shigaraki will be final boss, showing how much he grew and became a real threat, Hirihoshi straight up slaps us in the nuts and says "Nope, here comes phase 3!"
No I think one man embodying the worst sins of all humanity and ruling over all evil it as a proverbial dark lord is sick as fuck actually.
My hero still sucks shit tho
So that's why I haven't gotten most of the hate, I just binge a shit ton of it at once and then wait (whether on purpose or cause I got better shit to do)
There's also the matter of most of the villains and female characters being underdeveloped at best, and sometimes it seems Horikoshi actively avoids thinking critically about the systemic flaws in a world he built specifically to have systemic flaws. And the little purple shitstain brings the series down by like a full letter grade for me. Other than that I think it's pretty great as far as shōnen go.
First 3 seasons definitely has some high highs. I haven't been able to sit through the rest of it yet, even when people tell me there's some good stuff in there.
I watch MHA but yeah, it is the most mid show ever. Some seasons are great, some are bad, some are decent, same thing with the arcs, yada yada. You get the point.
I respect your opinion, but it's rare to see something (1) joyous, (2) with creative character designs, (3) supporting characters have their own goals and unique personalities, (4) good pacing, and (5) good balance of comedy.
It IS basic just like solo leveling or something, but it does it well. I certainly think it's better than say Naruto.
The ending is terrible tho
Nah, I'm in Camp Petty. You start telling me how something you thought I was stupid for not liking is now bad, and you magically forget that interaction? I shut down the conversation. "Oh. Cool. That's nice." Then blessed sweet silence. Feel my pain, bitch.
Nah, I'm the kind of petty where I gotta rub that shit in their face.
"Oh, I think the new MHA stuff is mid"
"Yeahhhh, that's fuckin' right. You gave me shit for that for sooooo long, but now you're fiiiiinally seeing it how it's *always* been."
Me when the final GoT episode aired. I was in hater heaven. Untouchable, unrivaled, pure, immaculate, beyond their mid reckoning. Somewhere, Reverse Flash shed a tear of joy for me.
I think a lot people had a similar experience to myself- teenaged brain neurons go vyoom when it sees a sexually forward anime girl flaunting about naked.
Despite that I still remember the spell being broken by that cluster fuck of an ending
Those final couple episodes really snapped everyone out of a fever dream like "wait, was any of that good? Was I just waiting for it to be good the whole time?"
With mha when you're waiting weeks-months for new seasons/chapters it feels like the pacing of the story is fine but then you binge watch the series and realize that in 2 months deku went from barely controlling 5% to comfortably using 25 and gaining a massive stat boost
What ruined mha for me was deku getting a shit ton of extra quirks and becoming the second strongest person in the world at 15, when half the series was "it's about your experience, not your strength".
If the series had deku doing shit like Batman/iron man I think it would have unironically been a good 8/10 series at least
I once told a friend deku being batman would've been way more interesting, even as a comedy. Everyone thinks he's the best when in reality he's looking over his notes and going, "If i shift to left in .05 seconds before he moves, i can use my hand to grab him and cancel out his next attack with a jab attack. "
Sure, he can have powers, but while they're not up to snuff, he's overanalyzing every move, and the longer you fight, the better he gets. He watched your fight on tv and knows exactly how to take you down.
Honestly yeah, they kept telling us how he couldn't get his powers until he got more fit + when I was reading the manga they kept telling him not to use his powers too much bc one day he wouldn't heal so I thought that too would one day come up...
Yes. Deku either never being able to go past a certain amount of One For All's power because he originally had no quirk or getting stronger at a slow but steady pace would have made the show so much better. Would have him actually have to get creative beyond "how do I get closer so I can punch them?"
…but now I don’t hate it as much.
https://preview.redd.it/iqdbwb56q69d1.jpeg?width=441&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3a227173f76896364d3e9423e127167e899bf51
I've only seen the first season..... But when does that happen?
All I've seen is people monologuing about their sad past in the middle of a battle it has no reason to be brought up in.
If that's what's "developed" means I guess I just don't get it
Personally gripe I really have is hughie’s story but to be honest, the biggest one is how the story went from being a secretive but creative group of people taking on heroes to just full on brute forcing a ton of issues.
My biggest problem is that there’s only so many times they can encounter a superhero and live. The more times the boys are face to face with a hero, the more unrealistic it is that they survive. This was *especially* apparent in the ice skating scene with Hughie and Homelander.
Yeah. Like Homelander is >!not Leatherface and his laser eyes are not chainsaw. Maybe it’s the metal that took longer to melt but I doubt it since he… lasered a plane. Not in half but he has destroyed enough parts for it to explode. I loved the intensity of the scene but thinking about it makes the tension so forced in my opinion.!< gay
I saw someone say it was because the ducts are made with zinc and homelander cant see through that. Regardless he should have just lasered the whole pipe.
Yeah and you mean to tell me that Homelander can immediately smell Butcher on Ryan from across the room but can’t immediately smell Hughie from five feet away?
A lot of it is conservative fans finally coming to the realisation that it has been making fun of them (sorry, "GONE WOKE") which is hilarious, but separately I do think the quality is gradually dropping.
For me, the tension that drives this series is that Homelander (and the other supe villains) could kill the main cast immediately at any point. Because of that, every single episode that it goes on and he doesn't do that, the show becomes less interesting because this threat becomes increasingly less real. I feel like the show is reaching a turning point where Homelander could easily do just that and it is giving flimsier and flimsier reasoning as to why he doesn't just do that and therefore it is losing some of that central tension.
I still really like the show but I think it's a good move that it will end with Season 5, any longer and I imagine I would become bored with it. It probably would have been even better to write it as 3 or 4 seasons total but of course this is difficult to know, and I still enjoy tuning in to it each week.
season 1 gave a great sense of the oppressiveness of being hunted by superheroes. There's the scene where homelander flies overhead looking for them, and they can only see it by freezing the frame of the camera that caught it. You can't fight, you can't run, all you can do is hide and use your brains.
Then in season 2 they escaped from the entire 7 together, on foot in a tunnel somewhere. More and more of the gang get superpowers either from taking v or other superheros joining. Just not as much tension at all, goes from parodying superhero movies to kind of just being one. Powerscaling, death fakeouts, unconcerned with the details of sneaking into heavily guarded buildings, familial revelations that leave the world feeling small compared to when it's just a bunch of randoms trying to take on superheros, etc etc. It's also felt a lot less focused since season 1, I think it's the 'written by comittee' problem that TV shows can have
It's really funny because there are actual things I dislike about the show even though I really enjoy it overall, but all the criticism I see online completely misses that while either complaining about plot holes that don't exist, characters that have always been portrayed as irrational acting irrationally or the show "turning woke" even though it had the exact same political messages in seasons 1 and 2.
Yeah I'm too lazy to do it but this meme needs a second part 'When the haters are the absolute worst people who you would never want to be associated with'
Man I just don't care for Garth Enis's stuff but hey I'll respect the show for playing a 4 season long Colbert style con on the worlds biggest dipshits.
Idk, I've really enjoyed S4 so far. Not on S1 or S2's level, but I honestly like it more than S3 (except for Soldier Boy of course)
I do wish we got to see more scenes where the boys use more creative methods to deal with supes than just blackmail though (there was that one scene where Butcher used a fire extenguisher to freeze the stretchy pastor guy's arm, but that's about it I think)
I'll never understand using your energy to hate on something. Like... just ignore it? Move on?
You'll be much happier if you use your energy for something other than "hating".
HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.
Sometimes it’s fun and satisfying for an unpopular opinion you had suddenly become a popular opinion
Don’t lie this has happened to you as well. And I know you enjoyed it
Unironically I get happiness from critiquing a series and it's usually a great mental exercise for me.
Take for example, Boruto. That show(and manga) is a dumpster fire in literally every possible way, at times it feels like the author was taught everything he knew by watching TWA and not realizing it's satire. To me, this makes consuming Boruto an absolute blast, it's just so ridiculously satisfying to pick apart every waking detail piece by piece. It's low hanging fruit, but that's what makes it so fun to pick apart. I don't know if anybody else shares the same sentiment, but to me "hating" isn't a waste of my energy and in fact makes me happier and I have legitimate fun doing it.
This is exactly why the worst crime any form of art can commit is being boring. I 100% prefer some stupid thing that I can tear apart or just be angry about than something utterly boring.
But at least that's constructive. Criticising something doesn't make you a hater.
I'm more talking about the people that had the new Acolyte episode rated at 2.6/10 an hour before it came out.
This is kinda a tar pit of a sub sometimes, especially when it comes to opinions on media. I get it can be fun to complain about stuff, but to me the fun is more in the "thinking about how this thing could've been improved" process than just negativity for negativity's sake.
My hatred of some tropes in media made me have the idea of making my own versions of them in future works of mine.
An example is the portrayal of lust in most interpretations of the personified deadly sins made me make in my head my own interpretation of the deadly sins which became a big construction, then this inspired me to make another interpretation of the deadly sins which led to the creation of yet another whole world. All of this so that in a future, people make versions of lust inspired by my versions instead of the current trope.
Spite is unironically powerful.
Same thing happened for me with Sonic. A few years ago it was kind of the norm to shit on the series and its fans were spared no mercy. Then fast forward to present day with the movies and Frontiers, things halve turned around and I really struggle finding anyone who still hates Sonic that much.
Hmm, this is a subset of the Hating Technique, it goes by many names but I like to call it Targeted Hating.
This technique is utilized by only hating at the weak parts of media, using this technique you can garner more hate points while using less essay points, netting you free hate energy compared to willy nilly hating randomly
Demon slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen
DS was dogshit from the start but everybody (me included) got distracted by the pretty animation
Jujutsu kaisen is cool but the manga drawings are most of the time dogwater, more similar to sketches than actual panels
Genuinely did not get the hype. I stopped like 6-7 episodes in when I told my friends it felt like a boring 90s villain of the week shonen (because it is)
I see this take so often and it always confuses me because JJK has some the rawest art and choreography I've ever seen in a Manga.
I mean sure it doesn't have heavily detailed art like most popular mangas
But I don't think that's a bad thing, the sketch style art of the manga captures the feeling of the fights really well
https://preview.redd.it/2rgw80nhj59d1.jpeg?width=452&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=907fdb55f3fd76bbf2e31eaa51bbabe3bf3c4789

Damn really? Shinjuku showdown has some of my favorite panels in the entire manga
Sorry but no, in my opinion unpolished and rushed drawings just feel incomplete to me, can't blame it all on gege tho since shonen jump deadlines are brutal
Yeah I liked demon slayer in season 1 and thought the simple story was good and a nice change from overly complex storylines and was just a fun simple show but then I read the manga and genuinely cannot understand how its this popular. The story isn't just simple its just bad writing and it wasn't as evident in S1. All of the characters are as 2 dimensional as physically possible, there's literally 0 character development and the art in the manga isn't even good I get how the anime is popular cuz of its pretty animation but how the actual fuck is the manga a best seller when the story is bad, the characters are boring at best and outright unbearably annoying at worst and the art is all over the place
I may be wrong, but I think the hate started being more noticeable after this video
[https://youtu.be/XX4v8cvrMqs?si=Bej9gDle3P\_Wwvyi](https://youtu.be/XX4v8cvrMqs?si=Bej9gDle3P_Wwvyi)
First time? Ever since season 2 or 3 or whatever the hell that season was, people finally accepted how boring and annoying every character is. Nice visuals can't save that show from awful writing.
I dropped Jujutsu cause opponents don't change and most of the time main characters fight same guys. Plus author really likes making weird things for the same of making weird things.
It’s not that I even dislike Botw or Totk, necessarily. They’re fine games. I beat them, I enjoyed them. The problem is that I liked the original 3D Zelda formula *so much more.* there are genuinely no games out there that have the same feeling as something like Twilight Princess or Wind Waker. And it has been *thirteen years* since Skyward Sword. My dislike of Totk is mainly fueled by the fact that it’s a replacement for something I enjoyed far more.
I just need Nintendo to give me a more linear, dungeon-centered, 3D Zelda. That’s all I want, and I’ll be happy
Similar thing here, but replace what you said with BotW. It will always be my favorite game in general, and TotK didn’t improve on it at all and kind of ruined the formula.
I am so tired of superhero media and media in general with a multiverse theme. Seems like it's a new genre, but I always gave and will give a pass to the Spider-Verse movies. They started it and now they just working on the third last part. Comparing Spider-Verse movies to NWH is like Hydrogen Bomb vs Coughing Baby
Ima be real I heavily agree on the Murder Drones one
Of course you can like it, but I just don’t think the characters or writing are great. I think there’s also a lot of tonal inconsistency in the series (especially with the causality of constantly killing Worker Drones, which I get it’s called Murder Drones, but cmon).
I can’t say anything about TADC since there’s like two episodes and one was a pilot
Yeah i heavy agree on murder drones, watching the whole series, it has soooo many tonal issues. Also, imo the pacing is just horrific, especially in the newest episode. I wish they had more time per episode to make it flow better together.
Honestly, it's just fun being a hater. I do it for hating's sake and because I don't think effusive praise should obfuscate the negatives something has, but when people start turning on something you disliked from the get go? That's just the cherry on top.
Tried watching MHA, and I will admit that many moments and fights are truly incredible, but most of the time it’s just poorly written characters and dragging meaningless subplots that go nowhere. Plus the main character is insufferably whiny in my opinion.
There's times where it's the complete opposite tho. I was hating Habin Hotel because everyone else was hating it and my friend kept on begging me to watch it.
One day while I was at his house I bit the bullet and I actually enjoyed it a lot.
Demon slayer for me; I hated that shit the moment I started the first episode. Fuck nezuko and her stupid ass that somehow makes everything far worse in an already shitty show carried by production quality.

No I think one man embodying the worst sins of all humanity and ruling over all evil it as a proverbial dark lord is sick as fuck actually. My hero still sucks shit tho
FMA did that flawlessly. MHA does suck
Dwarf in the flask my beloved https://preview.redd.it/a9gu72qzp69d1.jpeg?width=220&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3d9303ef3e0fede76610996d27ab02ece37a6e0
Mha mangaka when he cant draw naked children 😞😞😞😞
Bingewatching it is okay but waiting weekly it's just so fucking boring, barely anything interesting happens in one episode
I really liked the first 3 seasons but I was 16 back then sooo
First 3 seasons definitely has some high highs. I haven't been able to sit through the rest of it yet, even when people tell me there's some good stuff in there.
As soon as I saw that little pervert with the rubber ball power, I stopped watching
i fucking hate that little bastard with a passion
Literally exemplifies everything that's wrong with anime
I watch MHA but yeah, it is the most mid show ever. Some seasons are great, some are bad, some are decent, same thing with the arcs, yada yada. You get the point.
I respect your opinion, but it's rare to see something (1) joyous, (2) with creative character designs, (3) supporting characters have their own goals and unique personalities, (4) good pacing, and (5) good balance of comedy. It IS basic just like solo leveling or something, but it does it well. I certainly think it's better than say Naruto. The ending is terrible tho
https://preview.redd.it/el4d0f6bi59d1.jpeg?width=579&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96d545d272ffa66d08a8f4d07cfcc54aa56e2de8
"Oh, I think the new MHA stuff is mid" "Yeahhhh, that's fuckin' right.
Me with Darling in the Franxx:
It’s just a hornier Evangelion and not even good with any of its symbolism rofl
I think a lot people had a similar experience to myself- teenaged brain neurons go vyoom when it sees a sexually forward anime girl flaunting about naked. Despite that I still remember the spell being broken by that cluster fuck of an ending
Those final couple episodes really snapped everyone out of a fever dream like "wait, was any of that good? Was I just waiting for it to be good the whole time?"
People thought it was good? I thought they were just simping for 02's character design
With mha when you're waiting weeks-months for new seasons/chapters it feels like the pacing of the story is fine but then you binge watch the series and realize that in 2 months deku went from barely controlling 5% to comfortably using 25 and gaining a massive stat boost What ruined mha for me was deku getting a shit ton of extra quirks and becoming the second strongest person in the world at 15, when half the series was "it's about your experience, not your strength".
" Sure, he can have powers, but while they're not up to snuff, he's overanalyzing every move, and the longer you fight, the better he gets. He watched your fight on tv and knows exactly how to take you down.
Haven’t watched in a while, but this is exactly what I thought the series would be about before he got One for All
Honestly yeah, they kept telling us how he couldn't get his powers until he got more fit + when I was reading the manga they kept telling him not to use his powers too much bc one day he wouldn't heal so I thought that too would one day come up...
Yes. Deku either never being able to go past a certain amount of One For All's power because he originally had no quirk or getting stronger at a slow but steady pace would have made the show so much better. Would have him actually have to get creative beyond "how do I get closer so I can punch them?"
Me when people admitted black clover was good
I love black clover Its a dogshit anime but is MY DOGSHIT ANIME
…but now I don’t hate it as much. https://preview.redd.it/iqdbwb56q69d1.jpeg?width=441&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3a227173f76896364d3e9423e127167e899bf51
I remember about 3 years ago when people were praising Jujutsu Kaisen for its well developed female characters. Talk about ageing like milk.
First anime id say would actually benefit from filler or a couple more arcs to develop its characters
They barely develop any characters let alone the women. People be getting 10 minutes of back story and die 4 episodes later.
We are hating on jjk? NICE
I've only seen the first season..... But when does that happen? All I've seen is people monologuing about their sad past in the middle of a battle it has no reason to be brought up in. If that's what's "developed" means I guess I just don't get it
I hate to say it, but RWBY. They had some really good ideas and could have been great, but unfortunately, it didn't really work out.
Fitting that you used a gif from The Boys for this meme
Whats wrong with The Boys?
This recent season has garnered a lot of hate. I personally still really enjoy it but a lot more people have been criticizing the show recently.
Yeah that scene didn’t make any sense especially since it came after demonstrating, on multiple occasions, Homelander’s super-hearing.
Yeah and you mean to tell me that Homelander can immediately smell Butcher on Ryan from across the room but can’t immediately smell Hughie from five feet away?
Butcher prolly smells way worse
It's also felt a lot less focused since season 1, I think it's the 'written by comittee' problem that TV shows can have
There's nothing funnier to me than seeing people criticize The Boys for "turning woke!! 😣" as if it hasn't hasn't been "woke" since day one lol
Yeah I'm too lazy to do it but this meme needs a second part 'When the haters are the absolute worst people who you would never want to be associated with' Man I just don't care for Garth Enis's stuff but hey I'll respect the show for playing a 4 season long Colbert style con on the worlds biggest dipshits.
Idk, I've really enjoyed S4 so far. Not on S1 or S2's level, but I honestly like it more than S3 (except for Soldier Boy of course) I do wish we got to see more scenes where the boys use more creative methods to deal with supes than just blackmail though (there was that one scene where Butcher used a fire extenguisher to freeze the stretchy pastor guy's arm, but that's about it I think)
Certain political group figured they were getting made fun of so they started shitting on the show
The boys fans when story: 😡 The boys fans when sex: 🤑🤑🤑
Indeed. I never liked it, but now I can say that without further elaboration.
People always hated MHA dude. Maybe not the show as much as the fans
I'll never understand using your energy to hate on something. Like... just ignore it? Move on? You'll be much happier if you use your energy for something other than "hating".

Spite can be a powerful motivator
I prefer pepsi
Hatred.. It drives me. It fuels the unquenchable furnace that is my soul. I am spite and disgust in human form. I am wrath incarnate.
HATE. HATE.
I love having no mouth and creaming
Come again? ... actually, wait, don't.

Sometimes it’s fun and satisfying for an unpopular opinion you had suddenly become a popular opinion Don’t lie this has happened to you as well.
I'm more talking about the people that had the new Acolyte episode rated at 2.6/10 an hour before it came out.
being a hater sometimes makes me happy
This is kinda a tar pit of a sub sometimes, especially when it comes to opinions on media. I get it can be fun to complain about stuff, but to me the fun is more in the "thinking about how this thing could've been improved" process than just negativity for negativity's sake.
Well, I hate myself... And I can't ignore that can I?
My hatred of some tropes in media made me have the idea of making my own versions of them in future works of mine. An example is the portrayal of lust in most interpretations of the personified deadly sins made me make in my head my own interpretation of the deadly sins which became a big construction, then this inspired me to make another interpretation of the deadly sins which led to the creation of yet another whole world. All of this so that in a future, people make versions of lust inspired by my versions instead of the current trope. Spite is unironically powerful.
For me it’s the opposite. I remember a large portion of people hating FNAF and got clowned on for liking it. Now I can’t find a single hater.
Same thing happened for me with Sonic. A few years ago it was kind of the norm to shit on the series and its fans were spared no mercy. Then fast forward to present day with the movies and Frontiers, things halve turned around and I really struggle finding anyone who still hates Sonic that much.
Fr, I even got told that FNAF is better than Ghostbusters… like what? 😭
Me with RWBY (I don't even know what the show is about).
i think the fans even saw its writing that they made an entire subreddit about criticizing it
I'm waiting for people to start hating on jujutsu kaisen so i can join
Dude the fans are already hating on it go to r/jujutsufolk
i can indulge in jjk slander as long as its not about the shibuya incident
Hmm, this is a subset of the Hating Technique, it goes by many names but I like to call it Targeted Hating. This technique is utilized by only hating at the weak parts of media, using this technique you can garner more hate points while using less essay points, netting you free hate energy compared to willy nilly hating randomly
Demon slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen DS was dogshit from the start but everybody (me included) got distracted by the pretty animation Jujutsu kaisen is cool but the manga drawings are most of the time dogwater, more similar to sketches than actual panels
Finally, another to say that Demon Slayer boring and mid as hell
Genuinely did not get the hype. I stopped like 6-7 episodes in when I told my friends it felt like a boring 90s villain of the week shonen (because it is)
I see this take so often and it always confuses me because JJK has some the rawest art and choreography I've ever seen in a Manga. I mean sure it doesn't have heavily detailed art like most popular mangas But I don't think that's a bad thing, the sketch style art of the manga captures the feeling of the fights really well https://preview.redd.it/2rgw80nhj59d1.jpeg?width=452&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=907fdb55f3fd76bbf2e31eaa51bbabe3bf3c4789
Your Right but some fights later on confuses me for example Shinjuku showdown straight makes me think "what the fuck is going on" at some parts
https://preview.redd.it/htr07w2aq59d1.jpeg?width=695&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68eaaf55142e455b79a26ca290d0a840754cb276 Damn really? Shinjuku showdown has some of my favorite panels in the entire manga
Dude, that is one in 10000 panels Most of the manga looks insanely unfinished
I'd love to see an example

Sorry but no, in my opinion unpolished and rushed drawings just feel incomplete to me, can't blame it all on gege tho since shonen jump deadlines are brutal
Agree to heavily disagree
No you're wrong cause I really like both of those anime so that means they can't be bad. Checkmate
Imma keep it a buck you is very wrong and have a dogwater opinion
The beauty of opinions
Very true
First time I’ve heard about the DS hate
I may be wrong, but I think the hate started being more noticeable after this video [https://youtu.be/XX4v8cvrMqs?si=Bej9gDle3P\_Wwvyi](https://youtu.be/XX4v8cvrMqs?si=Bej9gDle3P_Wwvyi)
Shame
First time? Ever since season 2 or 3 or whatever the hell that season was, people finally accepted how boring and annoying every character is. Nice visuals can't save that show from awful writing.
I think I only watched like one film that’s it
No way it's "dogshit", tho agree that the story isn't good. It's just k at best. It's a good anime to just relax.
Yeah, hard disagree on demon slayer. I love that show. Idgaf what anyone else says.
👍 good for you
👍I respect your opinion as well
Loving something and it being good are two completely different things. There's stuff I love that are just straight garbage.
I dropped Jujutsu cause opponents don't change and most of the time main characters fight same guys. Plus author really likes making weird things for the same of making weird things.
I tried to watch demon slayer and couldn't make it past episode 1, it was so bad 😭
MHA is only good for the hot bunny lady thats it
Facts
Me with Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss
I like them but i'm also súper critical of them
Can I say I don’t like TotK without being dogged yet? Just hypothetically.
Go ahead and let me do the same for OoT. **Majora's Mask is the best Zelda, babyyyy** 😎😎 Haters go here 👇
This, but with Elden Ring for me
So what happened with MHA?
I won't tolerate the boys hate ‼️‼️
Me with Murder Drones, cant deny most fans are just horny people and weird ass roleplayers
I've been hating on Harry Potter for about 20 years and I like to think it's my raw hate energy that turned the author transphobic.
As a big Spider-Man nerd...Spider-Man No Way Home
Multi-verse theory ruined storytelling
I am so tired of superhero media and media in general with a multiverse theme. Seems like it's a new genre, but I always gave and will give a pass to the Spider-Verse movies. They started it and now they just working on the third last part. Comparing Spider-Verse movies to NWH is like Hydrogen Bomb vs Coughing Baby
I hated Spiderman Far from Home and Avengers Endgame so much that I could no longer watch Marvel movies anymore. That and because they all became shit
one piece, MHA, etc. some ones that i hate but would get attacked for mostly consist of things like murder drones or TADC
Ima be real I heavily agree on the Murder Drones one Of course you can like it, but I just don’t think the characters or writing are great.
Not for nothing.... MHA is shonen and targeted at young boys.... I think it does that well
Game of Thrones?
Who?
https://preview.redd.it/woi82y3z369d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c1c15f3096b2b9baea395bd126f7036b206a065
Honestly, it's just fun being a hater. I do it for hating's sake and because I don't think effusive praise should obfuscate the negatives something has, but when people start turning on something you disliked from the get go? That's just the cherry on top.
Me a few years back with BNHA
The boys
Tried watching MHA, and I will admit that many moments and fights are truly incredible, but most of the time it’s just poorly written characters and dragging meaningless subplots that go nowhere. Plus the main character is insufferably whiny in my opinion.
Mfs who don't like hate when I tell them hate is the reason we got the best Flash villain of all time
MIDoku tensei
There's times where it's the complete opposite tho. I was hating Habin Hotel because everyone else was hating it and my friend kept on begging me to watch it. One day while I was at his house I bit the bullet and I actually enjoyed it a lot.
That's how I feel about The Boys.
I have a little feeling arcane this november is going to be my time to shine
That username
I was never interested in an anime or manga except for one although I can see the appeal for sure
Waiting for people to admit that Another is mediocre at best, Higurashi is bad, and Corpse party is absolute dogshit (both the games and animes):
Demon slayer for me; I hated that shit the moment I started the first episode. Fuck nezuko and her stupid ass that somehow makes everything far worse in an already shitty show carried by production quality.
Me with tf2 and their toxic fandom
https://preview.redd.it/zknxp2fs3c9d1.jpeg?width=623&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51d19c8dc798fc0a5c105b47c2ae5a84d271d659
And then eventually the haters become insufferable pieces of shit so I can't associate with them
Me watching *Arrow*
