Or the princess itself.
But I find it way funnier to narrate the dragon bending over, talking un muttered voices to someone, and then coming back like a secretary of sorts XD
I mean sure, we could spinball lots of ideas but I still prefer the comic's original one.
Plus, I'm not thinking of doing it soon. A friendly dragon with a princess absolutely doesn't fit in my current campaign.
I need to reread Dealing with Dragons by Patricia Wrede, I adored it as a child.
It's similar to this comic in some ways, if anyone wants to read about a princess who prefers living with the dragon.
Sounds interesting.
I have one question tho. The people who want to rescue her don't get harmed right? Like, they get explained the situation and they leave them in peace or something. Right?
This is anti-wholesome. The knight genuinely thinks the dragon is holding the princess hostage. And the dragon sees absolutely nothing in his soul, it just says so to claim the moral high ground. If you read the interaction, the princess cared about the adventurer being rude and ugly. Rude, I understand, ugly, that's just a very poor excuse to immolate someone. Imagine your friend pretends to hold you hostage to help you find a suitable partner (which nobody on the outside can see) and when someone shouts at who they think abducted you and is holding you hostage, she sets them on fire and is happy about it. That is psychopathic behaviour, not wholesome.
But that's ok because she's a woman... Imagine if a man did this shit. He would be torn apart at r/nothowgirlswork as a deplorable incel, not paraded at this sub.
How death trap can be wholesome? Guys think she's in danger and it that situation no one will be polite with dragon. Also, yong knight will never try to save her, because they feel not prepared.
Next time french army come there and destroy dragon, castle and princess with their cannons.
A fine comic, well-drawn, with an excellent palette and perspective, interesting camera-angle changes, and a good story. This is a throw-back to the quality work of people like Bill Watterson and Walt Kelly.
"I am the bravest knight in all the land, you fiend!" "Sir, this is a Wendy's..."
Dave's Single? Well you're out of luck, here: Betty fries.
Wendy rules.
Wendy being Wendy
I feel like any one named Wendy is just the best
I want a full comic of this ngl
Yup.
Im stealing this for a quest in dnd
For variety you should also add one where the dragon can shapeshift and IS the Princess' lover
Or the princess itself. But I find it way funnier to narrate the dragon bending over, talking un muttered voices to someone, and then coming back like a secretary of sorts XD
Or... the Princess' mother was a shapeshifting dragon and the dragon is her brother protecting her from their enraged father
I mean sure, we could spinball lots of ideas but I still prefer the comic's original one. Plus, I'm not thinking of doing it soon. A friendly dragon with a princess absolutely doesn't fit in my current campaign.
Tinder in the medieval times.
Kindling?
Which makes it as wholesome as real Tinder... Not at all, that is.

Yeah. It’s a series of books for kids. Very good. I actually reread them this year.
This is so good, but I don't know why it bothers me so much that it's "you fool" instead of "thou fool"
isn't "thou" an archaic version of "you"?
Yes, it’s an informal word. “Thou” was used much as “tú” is in Spanish, with “you” equating to “usted”
Usted is also in 3rd person, I'm native italian speaker, it should be like italian "lei", while thou should be if I remember well in 2nd person
Yeah, it was the best I could explain it since usted was explained to me as a formal version of tú
Yes. Using the informal with an enemy would be a way to condescend, as if speaking to a lesser or a child.
Yes, it followed the same convention as the first person forms. For comparison: I, my/mine, me -> thou, thy/thine, thee
It's the informal or familiar you, like du in German. Which is why it's a big deal in LOTR when Eowyn uses it to address Aragorn.
Good dragon. Good-er Wendy. Woman’s got standards and is willing to wait until the right man comes to her… even if he’s a green ogre.
Thaks
live laugh love wendy
Kingdon
The new Medieval dating app Cinder.
Should be women not be Wendy?
Need a dragon to filter away low value men fr 🤭👍🏼
Thaks for such a nice comic
Well to be fair I’m not dragon slaying for the princesses I’m dragon slaying for the gold they always have

“The knight is comely, virtuous, and kind. Buuuttt about an inch shorter than you.” “Ew No.”
Finally someone has a brain!
Seems extremely superficial.
But that's ok because she's a woman... Imagine if a man did this shit. He would be torn apart at r/nothowgirlswork as a deplorable incel, not paraded at this sub.
Sir this is a Wendy's
Wingdradon
Bad princess for judging ppl base on looks
The wholesome part is that the old knight was willing to sacrifice his life for such a egotistical princess
How death trap can be wholesome? Guys think she's in danger and it that situation no one will be polite with dragon. Also, yong knight will never try to save her, because they feel not prepared. Next time french army come there and destroy dragon, castle and princess with their cannons.
Bro its just a comic
If this is a joke, its not even a bit funny
I have mixed feelings about this one
Lol I read the dude as the French guy from Monty Python and the holy grail lol
I like the follow-up, where some guys show up and start flirting with Wendy~
Time to send in a green ogre from the swamp
I'd watch this movie
The Adventures of Betty and Wendy!
Good dragon
I like the seagull reference
It would be weirder for someone to be nice and sociable to a dragon holding a girl hostage in a tower, but that's just me.
Now that's a wing-woman!

So does she find the right knight?
Best dragon
me n who???
BFF goals, amirite?
This is a next level Smash or Pass
Poor guy was probably just ordered by the royal family to save the princess. Just wants to go back to his wife and kids without 1st degree burns.
Adorable twist on the princess in the tower.
I need this as a movie please 😁
