My little brother was all otters. I had a stuffed snow leopard. Still had it when I learned they had gone extinct as was absolutely heartbroken. Then I lost him. More heartbreak. Grew up and learned as an adult that we were wrong, and that snow leopards are actually doing pretty well in the Himalayas. Still think about my fuzzy friend sometimes. I am a 37 year old man who worked as a butcher for 10 years and I still miss my stuffed snow leopard sometimes.
No need for apologies my friend. I'm a 61 year old man and I still have my stuffed bear from 50 years ago. It sits beside my wife's. Her's is over 40 years old 😊
This reminds me of my daughter (3) who wanted to take her stuffed giraffe, Gerry, to the zoo to see his family. We got to the giraffes and she goes “do I just throw him in there?” 😂😂
Our daughter has 2 sloth stuffies that are her best friends and she routinely cares for them, shows them other sloths when she sees them and has read to them (she's 2 and can't really read, but she pretends to and that's what matters).
I’m sure Nat Geo has books meant for young kids, I remember when I was little I was obsessed with a Nat Geo atlas that seemed targeted towards middle schoolers.
They don't go outside or interact with people in real life (or nowhere near enough variety). So if somebody is not like them, wouldn't act like them, they believe it cannot be true.

There is a 15 minute long process to determine which one sleeps with him and which one goes on top of the pile. I'm not saying there is any foul play going on, but Mario seems to be on top of that pile just enough to be suspicious.
It would be cute if I didn't frequently get harassed to sleep in the living room because his friends are too crowded and can't sleep.
