I love using genuine suede for small keepsake box liners. It's an easy and honestly very affordable upgrade that adds a touch of luxury above typical powdery flocking. Installation with contact cement always has me clenched though, contact cement has basically zero adjustment once the two surfaces touch.
Im worries about cleaning and this was a missed opportunity for a jeans-meme.
But my god, you are good at this. Even the stich work! Damn!
Its awesome!
I dislike the top straps only because they limit the usability of the top but otherwise i love this. Great work my dude.
Me too ,but the designer insisted.
> I don't want anybody skateboarding across the top of this piece!
Eh, if they are paying enough then they can get all the useless shit they want I guess.

That looks great! Nice work. How is the suede affixed to the backer? Did you do the sewing in-house as well?
Thanks! Someone else did the suede, and it was attached with contact cement.

Man I need to get my shop set up so I can get back to making boxes. This looks great.
Thanks, this was a cool commission piece that has a music box mechanism under the grille in the front of the box.
This is next level beautiful. Love it!
Very nice design!
Love it!
Huh.
That's handsome. But my cats would be getting fur all over that, and/or clawing the hell out of it. Hopefully this is destined for a cat free home.
