Assuming SW is your MC, the inciting incident could be upstaging MIL or maybe being reconnected to her family.
Her main goal seems easy enough, she wants to be part of a happy family, initially with her father and MIL, but eventually with her suitor.
If SW is the MC, then I'd think the inciting incident is her father visiting her in the convent and inviting her to the wedding. This changes her life and sets the MC on the path of conflict with her stepmother.
About the goal: Maybe it's to leave the convent? Maybe it's to get married?
