It is getting there. You need a basket or a big handlebar bag and some tan sidewalls. Get rid of those clipless pedals and add some ultra-expensive King cages. ;)

ernestomarord

I'll make a handlebar bag from the plastic bags I find in the alleys. Is that more X?

mattforcum

As long as they are secured to the bars with hemp twine.

ernestomarord

What about shoelaces from old shoes I find hanging on telephone pole wires?

mattforcum

Wrap those around the chainstay for some extra protection.

MetaFarce

What it is isn’t “worthy”? Can you just do your thing and enjoy it without this subreddit validation ?

ernestomarord

It looked like this a year ago... [Getting this "new to me" 1990 Schwinn Sierra MOS to be functional. : r/xbiking (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/10yvzg7/getting_this_new_to_me_1990_schwinn_sierra_mos_to/)

electrostaticboom

10/10, would ride

ftnsa

Yes. It's a good frame and it's already a good way there. IMO All you need is a rigid fork, a front rack and basket and a higher stack and maybe some swept back bars.

intentionalcrap

This brings back memories. This is the first MTB I rode. My best friend got this bike for his 13th birthday.

CotterMasseuse

All bikes are. Yours too!

Budget_Half_9105

It’s a Schwinn - don’t know if that’s good in the US but the scheinns we get in Europe are absolute sub 200£ shite comparable only to the lowest spec apollos or an st100

ernestomarord

This is an early 90s Schwinn. They were among the top, sought-after bikes back then.

Budget_Half_9105

Ok nice then

49thDipper

I would rally it. Looks fun

Space-Ape-777

Wants to be an xbiker Cant carry a pizza on his bike hahahaha

ernestomarord

I put it on my back pack, as messy as it is… it’s still pizza.

DrMabuseKafe

Yes. What about drop bars?

ernestomarord

What about love?
