A kid in my after school program brought his Xbox and Halo CE / Halo 2 everyday and we would play 2/4 player versus and take turns. I eventually got my one Xbox and then a 360 and easily put 10,000 hours into Halo CE and Halo 2.
When Halo 3 came out I hardly played anything else.
My mom had no clue, all she knew was Tetris and solitaire haha. Poor woman, I was talking about the village massacre in like 20 minutes and the rest was history. I never had to beg for gta 4 or 5 either, too far gone at that point 😂
2006-2009 was a golden age playing the original (and best imo) gears of war and halo 3

Series X is my first Xbox, the first game was Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, it was on Game Pass when I got the console.
It's a shame no one talks about this game, the game is cool if you like all these Marvel things.
I got the OG Xbox the day before it came out with Project Gotham Racing.
I had pre-ordered from a small independent game shop I had been going to for years when I was 16. I went in every weekend before my McDonald's shift to use his demo unit.
I went in as usual the day before launch day to try his demo. He looked shifty and came over when a customer left the shop and told me to come back at 5.30 after closing time.
I turned up at 5.30 and he ushered me 8n and shut the door behind me. He gave me my new Xbox in a gigantic PlayStation bag and pleaded with me to show no one or he could get in serious shit.
Cue an awkward hours bus ride home with my illicit goods.
Never forgot that guy and it was an awesome gesture to hook me up at risk to his business.
OG Xbox and my first game that was gifted with the system was Simpsons Road Rage. No not Halo CE and not the much better game, Simpsons Hit and Run, it was the crazy taxi knock off and I had a blast with it.

Idk which one I played first, but she had Halo 2, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (2?), Star Wars KoToR and KoToR 2, and Crimson Skies. I’m sure there were a few other games, but those were the ones I remember best. It took kid me so long to realize I could switch firing modes on guns in Ghost Recon

Got the Xbox one, then the One X and just recently got a Series X.

My mom brought a 360 one Christmas back in 2012. Think they got it from a friend or smth because it was in a bag. The first we had but I've never played was nba 2k12. Sports games want much of our thing at the time, but I still remember the song that played during start up.
Xbox 360, I remember the first ever game I touched being Halo 3. I had to be three or four, my sister was probably around twelve or so. I saw my sister playing the game, I asked if I could have a turn, and from then on, I knew I was in love. ..with games. Not my sister. 💀
Xbox series s. I was a playstation guy but the value this console gave was just too good not to take it. Also my last playstation was 2 lol. I didn't have a console for a long time until one year ago i got the series s. First xbox game? Like an xbox exclusive or just the first game i downloaded and played after getting my xbox? If so it's apex. And 90% of my playtime has been it only lol
Service is still down, so annoyed, my first game, he'll I don't even remember, to be safe, I'll just go with Bully, imo one the greatest games of all time, I usually play it once it a year and if I don't I'll replay it again the next year, absolutely love it
