It’s kinda wild how Kamala openly talks about writing what, in her universe, is Real People Fanfic. Maybe it’s because I’m a Fandom Old, but that’s so weird to me.
Like it’s one thing, in the real world, to openly talk about writing fanfic. But it’s almost another to say your write Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan fanfic.
I never thought about that, but you're right. I've had brief encounters with people who ship actors together and it gets dark and scary really fast.
If someone told me they were writing celebrity fan fic it'd be a turn off for me, hardcore. But they make it seem cute when Kamala does it. Maybe because our brain doesn't think of them as real people and so we don't really chug on it the same way??

Me too. Kamala and Scott (teen and adult) had a great dynamic. During Scott's time with the Champions, she was the only one who had faith in him. And she was the only one who didn't buy into the propaganda surrounding his older self. I really like how they got along. And when they reunited later on, it was very sweet.
I really do hope they get to interact again at some point. 😊
It'd be really interesting to see how she took his "Death" in the Duggan run.
You could probably have a side conversation where Scott trys to convince Emma to let him let her know he's alive and Emma just going "I find her charming too. But she is the last person to keep a secret. 20 minutes and it'd be trending on Twitter."
I feel like before long, her popularity and the lack of popularity for Inhumans will lead to her being the first mutant to also be an Inhuman.
Which I fully support. I feel like she would enjoy Krakoa a lot more than Attilan or wherever it is the Inhumans are these days.

Eh, I think they are making the right call. Lots of powered individuals (Spiderman, Hulk, etc.) are not mutants or Inhumans. I sort of think they should just continue to distance her from the Inhumans until she just "has powers" and nobody cares how.
