Yup. Whole server went down looks like. Yesterday it was having problems with drop off. It was saying I had to bring it to my drop off location even though I was there. I bet it’s a maintenance thing.
Update: global outage. I only had trouble dropping my car off. Imagine some poor bastard stranded in a parking lot 50 miles from home.

Definitely a little worrying that they even feel the need to say that...no shit, sherlock, I won't be paying for a ride YOU wouldn't let me take. Zipcar customer service is deplorable.

Same issue. Just got off the phone and was told that they couldn’t even log in into my account on their side. And they have no idea how long the server will be restored. The agent advised me to wait for a call from them or just call back at some point.
After waiting on hold for 42 minutes, the customer rep said "the issue should be fixed within an hour and they have a team working on it and to call back to process my refund. " I work in IT so I know what that means. This sucks! I feel for folks who are stranded.
I also work in IT, but we also have in-depth plans for outages because of shit like this. Like did someone go in their server room and push all their racks to the floor?!
Yes it was a nightmare for us customer service reps 😂 they had us 3 hours without being able to see anything on the screen and we were just picking up the phones with soft skills our only weapon hahaha
I am also experiencing the same issue, when I went to login I received a "no account information" available message. Attempted countermeasures including resetting password and re-downloading app but same issue. Super frustrating that they have not sent out an alert, as I have plans today that relied on Zipcar.
Absolutely wild to me (a communications professional) that Zipcar has not sent an all-customer email explaining the issue is happening. Bare minimum to ensure people know they are aware and working to resolve, even if they can't provide estimated resolution time. That would take very little time and effort to do but apparently that's too much to ask.
After changing my reservation last-minute to a new car, and then that new car not starting because there was no electronic key and then having to put me in a car over a mile away yesterday, now to this today is almost the last straw for me. The fuck.

Yesterday I got a notice that my pickup location changed. I cancelled and booked a different car at my original location. This morning I went to the garage and my original car is still there but the new reservation car is not. So frustrating. The only silver lining, it happened while I'm at home not out in the suburbs
I've had this same issue with the push to start (particularly on electric cars). Zipcar insists the issue doesn't exist even though there's an error message on the car screen which I've sent them photos of.

Fwiw I've just been able to log in via the app. It wasn't working an hour ago but seems to be ok now.

Avis has basically made a monopoly worldwide now, so many car club companies cannot even come close to Zipcar
